As a software engineer intern, you're part of the team. You will learn alongside a team of experts on how to build commercial software for real-time distributed systems demanding extreme performance and scalability.

You must be able to work on a full-time basis during the Summer of 2020 (6-8 weeks). Interns will work on projects related to RTI Connext. The projects vary in scope and requirements. You will work closely with a mentor for the entire lifecycle of a software engineering project that will be used either internally at RTI or by RTI’s customers. At the end of the summer, you will have the chance to present your work to the Research and Development department.

- Strong software development skills in C/C++
- Knowledge of scripting languages desirable (Perl/Python/Shell Scripting)
- Knowledge of network and system programming
- Junior or Senior class level, Graduate students preferred
