Challenges You Will Solve

In this role, you will be joining the Revenue Operations (RevOps) Team with the mission of driving bookings across the customer lifecycle through the use of technology and data.  This role will be a great fit for you if you are passionate about creating customer success leverage best in class technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct in-depth product demonstrations of products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Work with the customers and Engineers to ensure the product meets the system requirements
  • Provide expertise and support to sales teams to communicate products, services, and client needs
  • Communicate customer requirements to product management teams
  • Establish customer rapport and acceptance
  • Recommend new and improved products to the customers and explain how the solution will be more cost-effective
  • Provide pre-sales solution designing to help close new sales opportunities
  • Proactively suggest and implement system and process improvements
  • Consult with existing and potential clients to assess and understand solution needs and systems requirements
  • Apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends and competitive offerings

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2-4 years of sales experience combined with a technical role 
  • Proficiency in sales software stack (Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in the full Google suite of products (gsheets, gdocs, slides, gmail, etc)
  • Some experience using a markup language (JSON, XML, HTML, etc)
  • Some experience using BI reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, etc)
  • Understanding and some experience with Professional Services and Consulting engagements
  • Excellent written/verbal/presentation communication skills; Being able to provide product, technical, and integration expertise in a way that removes confusion, doubt, or uncertainty
  • Self-driven, internal motivation and drive to succeed in a goal-driven position
  • Experience working with SaaS software
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Negotiation and social problem-solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel 10% to 50% of the time, depending on the position and sales role
  • Product expertise. Knowing how our software helps accomplish the business goals of the client and being able to demonstrate the features and functionality that address the use cases of the client, from both a business-user and an end-user perspective.
  • Integration expertise. Understanding and being able to explain how our software integrates with the relevant and related tools / systems that our clients use

Roostify HQ is located in San Francisco, CA, and we are open to remote work within the USA for this role.
