Position Summary:

The Associate, Governance position will help provide operational, financial and strategic guidance for Roivant’s subsidiaries, reporting to the SVP, Governance.  This role will support oversight of Roivant’s portfolio companies, help analyze internal and external programs, contribute to day-to-day operations, and support board reporting activities. The ideal candidate will have previous exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, strong analytical and financial modeling skills, insatiable curiosity, strong work ethic, outstanding attention to detail, high integrity, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Build out robust frameworks for measuring and benchmarking portfolio company performance across financial and operational metrics
  • Build and track competitive landscapes and industry data
  • Determine best practices and communicate with executives to improve decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Serve as liaison between Governance team and key stakeholders, including subsidiary C-suite executives, Roivant leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that align with key outcomes and objectives
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of board meeting materials.
  • Serve as thought partner and sounding board for Roivant SVP, Governance 

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in finance, governance, or a related field
  • At least 2-years biopharma investment banking experience or equivalent experience combining analytical, operational, and strategic thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of financial statements and financial modeling skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical thinking with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize material for board level or C-suite communications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects

Base salary for this role will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market conditions.  The expected base salary for the role will generally be between $135,000 - $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment, but the final salary offered may be outside this range based on individual circumstances and business and market conditions. 

Base salary if hired is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include other components such as discretionary bonuses, equity, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and Roivant reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance and business and market conditions.
