About the PharmD Fellowship Program

Our two-year PharmD Fellowship Program begins in the summer of 2025. It offers recent PharmD graduates the opportunity to complete two (2) yearlong rotations on different teams within Roivant’s Research & Development (R&D) team. The aim of this program is to attract and develop future leaders by accelerating the development of talent. Successful graduates of our PharmD Fellowship Program may be invited to pursue exciting employment opportunities within the Roivant portfolio based on individual performance and Roivant’s business needs.

From day one, fellows will own projects and have opportunities to make a meaningful impact on Roivant’s innovative pharmaceutical and healthcare technology companies. Team placements will be made based on business need across diverse areas within the R&D team, such as Clinical Development; Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC); Regulatory Affairs; Quality; Clinical Pharmacology; Program Management; Bio-Statistics; Non-clinical Development; and Translational Medicine.

Sample Projects Include:

  • Clinical Development: Identify indication expansion opportunities for clinical candidates. 
  • Regulatory: Assist in the consolidation of safety data across clinical trials from a clinical program and prepare adverse event tables for informed consent documents.
  • CMC: Evaluate advanced formulation technologies and provide insights into current trends and advancements in the field. 
  • Program Management: Using historical program information, develop a standardized R&D template to maximize efficiency in future R&D programs. 
  • Quality: Review Master Batch Records and Executed Batch Records to ensure GMP compliance and develop formal investigation for found deviations.
  • Translational Medicine: Devise strategy to identify potent tool compounds, which may be utilized to initiate new discovery programs.
  • Clinical Pharmacology: Assist in Pharmacokinetic (PK) characterizations, Pharmacokinetic—Pharmacodynamic (PKPD) and exposure-response analyses, dose selections, human mass balance studies, drug-drug interaction evaluations, PK in special populations, and Thorough QT (TQT) evaluations to assess if drug candidates have a threshold pharmacologic effect on cardiac repolarization.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of PharmD program.
  • Prior internship experience in biotech/healthcare or related 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of academic excellence; GPA of 5 or higher.
  • Willingness to travel to New York, NY for work training and meetings.
  • Authorization to work in the United  This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

The expected base salary for the role is $100,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

Base salary if hired is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include other components such as Company-sponsored benefit programs.
