About you

You possess a solid background in the digital marketing ecosystem, encompassing areas such as marketing analytics, marketing technology, or the execution and management of digital marketing programs. Your expertise lies in the application of data science solutions within marketing.

Your innate curiosity and passion are centered around crafting innovative data science solutions that address fundamental challenges in marketing. You have a particular interest and expertise in the realm of account-based experience (ABX), where your skills in data science significantly contribute to the advancement and effectiveness of marketing strategies.



What you'll be doing

Strategic Analytics Leadership

  • Lead the development of data and model-driven decision-making strategies to enhance the success of ABX (Account Based Experience) programs.
  • Implement state-of-the-art marketing analytics solutions using advanced data science techniques.
  • Offer specialized guidance in research, modeling, and analytics, emphasizing the enhancement of data intelligence in ABX strategies.

Problem-Solving and Consultation

  • Utilize proactive problem-solving approaches specifically tailored to address ABX challenges.
  • Act as an analytics consultant for internal teams, aligning immediate project requirements with long-term organizational goals in ABX.
  • Develop and execute innovative solutions to complex issues related to ABX.
  • Assume responsibility for navigating undefined projects and ambiguous business challenges.

Collaboration and Partnership

  • Cultivate strong collaborations with internal and external client teams on advanced analytics projects, including experimentation, modeling, and audience science relevant to ABX.
  • Lead the development and upkeep of data pipelines, ensuring they are accessible to users of all skill levels.

Predictive Analytics and Modeling

  • Guide the development, validation, and implementation of data science models and analytics.
  • Play a pivotal role in creating a comprehensive data science toolkit focused on descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics within ABX.
  • Develop ABX-focused data science solutions utilizing NLP (Natural Language Processing) and customer segmentation models.

Data Science Solution Planning

  • Create replicable code templates and maintain clear documentation throughout the modeling workflow.
  • Produce detailed technical documents and training materials for end-users, ensuring a thorough understanding of our data infrastructure.

Communication and Presentation

  • Effectively communicate complex solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders in an understandable manner.
  • Design top-quality presentations that convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Share insights and findings with team members to promote a data-driven decision-making culture.

Quality Assurance and Innovation

  • Encourage innovative thinking and challenging traditional methods.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards in work, with a focus on reproducibility, replicability, and peer review.



What you have

  • 7+ years of combined industry experience in marketing, analytics, and data science.
  • Extensive experience in advertising or marketing analytics, with a deep understanding of marketing insights, measurement, and the online media landscape.
  • Some exposure to and experience with ABX technologies.
  • Proficiency in Python for API calling, data cleaning, modeling, and visualization.
  • SQL knowledge for database querying.
  • Working knowledge of Google Query Language. 
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing systems such as BigQuery and Snowflake. 
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and visualization techniques.
  • Proficient in using data visualization tools such as Tableau Software and Looker Studio.
  • Solid understanding of classical statistical modeling methods, with the ability to interpret and explain underlying assumptions and results.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying actionable insights and scalable solutions.
  • Ability to combine qualitative and quantitative methods for comprehensive analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying technical statistical and data science concepts clearly.
  • Strong presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop data science solutions that add value to client projects.
  • Experience in creating strategic marketing data science solutions that provide actionable, data-driven insights.
  • Exemplary attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • High capacity for problem-solving and a keen interest in learning and implementing new technologies.

 

Bonus if you have:

  • Martech experience across ABX platforms, such as 6sense, Demandbase, Terminus, Bombora.
  • CRM experience with  Salesforce. 
  • Marketing Automation experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot
  • Experience in data visualization with Tableau Software, Looker Studio.
  • Experience using Snowflake.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150k to $165k per year. Salary is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, alignment with market data, as well as internal and external equity.
