
Product Marketing Intern (Remote in Colorado)
About your role
Rocket Lawyer is seeking a customer-obsessed and driven Product Marketing Intern to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to dive into the world of product marketing and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools, strategies, and campaigns. The intern will work closely with the Product Marketing team and our Head of Integrated Campaigns Performance Marketing, assisting with key projects that will directly impact our go to market strategy and product messaging and positioning.
This internship is ideal for students or early-career professionals looking to learn how customer insights guide messaging frameworks and how those frameworks are applied in marketing campaigns.
Location: Remote, but you must be located in CA, AZ, CO, NC, or UT during the internship.
Duration: June 16, 2025 - August 8, 2025, working 40 hours per week
Reports to: VP. Product Marketing
How you will make a difference day to day
- Conduct customer interviews with our target customers to understand their pain points and how our products and services solve their needs.
- Experimentation Roadmap: Based on customer insights, develop a comprehensive experimentation roadmap for Rocket Lawyer to better communicate the value of our services and grow annual memberships.
- Create a comprehensive messaging framework that provides a comprehensive and holistic overview of approved messaging for Rocket Lawyer, Rocket Legal+, and key products.
- Assist the Content, Design, and Integrated Campaigns team in conducting user testing to support critical business priorities.
- Assist in analyzing integrated campaign performance, compiling insights, and preparing reports for the Product Marketing team
- Partner with the Product and Product Marketing teams to share insights and solicit feedback and input on our approach.
What you’ll need
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- A strong interest in product marketing and a desire to understand how customer insights influence marketing decisions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from customer interviews and user testing.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent project/time management skills.
- Proficient in Google Docs and Google Sheets or Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive and curious, eager to take initiative and learn on the job.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to learn quickly.

Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process.
