
Product Design Intern
About your role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated UX/Product Design Intern to join our team and contribute to the design of a cohesive, scalable, and user-centered acquisition experience. This internship will provide hands-on experience in designing for our core member experience (MX), with a focus on improving customer engagement and driving retention, all while keeping the nuances of the legal industry in mind. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a cross-functional team and help create designs that delight users at every stage of their journey.
Reports to: Product Design Manager
Location: Remote, but you must be located in Brazil during the internship
Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension, working 30 hours per week
How you will make a difference day-to-day
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes under the guidance of senior designers.
- Assist in designing user-friendly, scalable product experiences that align with brand standards and stay consistent with the design system.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to align on project goals and ensure designs effectively meet those objectives.
- Ensure designs reflect brand voice and provide a seamless user experience across various touchpoints.
- Help analyze user behavior (e.g., heatmaps, session recordings) to identify and resolve friction points.
- Leverage user segments—based on behavior, demographics, and other key factors—to create tailored designs that resonate with diverse user profiles.
- Stay up-to-date on product experience and legal tech design trends, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
- Learn how to prioritize and manage design tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you’ll need
- Education: Senior Undergraduate Student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Design, Advertising, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants of all backgrounds, especially those passionate about product and UX design in tech. This internship does not require a specific number of years of experience.
- Design Skills: Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. A willingness to learn and grow your design skills is key!
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your design work is a plus but not required for consideration. If you don't have one yet, feel free to share personal or academic projects you’re proud of.
- Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in teams. We're looking for an intern who is eager to collaborate and learn from others.
- Learning Mindset: Interest in using data and research to improve design decisions, and willingness to explore tools like User Testing, Full Story, or Google Analytics.
- Flexibility: Comfortable balancing multiple tasks and learning to prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
- English: Able to communicate in English.
