About the Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Communications Associate to share Robinhood’s story with the world. As our second member of the communications team, you will work closely with our Head of Communications to craft messaging for upcoming corporate and product announcements, work with top media outlets, and land amazing stories. This is a great opportunity to join one of the most exciting startups with lots of media attention as the second person on the communications team.
As a Senior Communications Associate you will:
Collaborate with multiple teams across the company such as Product, Engineering, Marketing, as well as the Executive team
Lead various PR campaigns around data pushes, product launches, and corporate announcements
Proactively identify cultural moments to add Robinhood to public conversations
Develop and maintain strong relationships with reporters and other influencers, particularly in business, tech, and consumer media outlets
Some things we consider critical to being a Senior Communications Associate:
2-4 years of communications or public relations experience in-house or at a top agency
Stellar written and verbal communication skills
Existing relationships with technology and business press
Ability to juggle multiple projects with different (and often changing) deadlines
Obsession with business and technology news
