About the team + role 

The GenAI team is devoted to bridging the transition of GenAI & ML modeling work into production-grade applications. Robinhood operates at the intersection of data-driven insights and technological innovation.

We’re looking for a seasoned fullstack engineer who is excited to build a world-class platform and industry-leading developer experience. When our engineers succeed, Robinhood does too.

As a fullstack engineer on the GenAI team, you’ll be working closely with our GenAI engineers team to build bespoke, intuitive and collaborative user interfaces to streamline all aspects of the GenAI agent lifecycle, from prompt engineering to production tracing.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain full-stack frameworks and tools that empower teams to develop and deploy AI-driven solutions across Robinhood.
  • Work on one of Robinhood’s most impactful open-source projects, enabling diverse use cases for internal teams, including Brokerage, Futures, Private Banking, FinCrimes, CX, and more.
  • Design and implement robust client and server-side systems, ensuring seamless integration across the stack to support scalable agentic AI solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with AI engineers to deliver libraries, frameworks, and abstractions that enhance developer velocity and enable rapid prototyping of AI-driven tools.
  • Build tools for use cases ranging from streamlining internal operations (e.g., mailroom automation) to developing entire RaaS platforms, ensuring applicability to a wide variety of needs.
  • Play a foundational role in shaping Robinhood’s AI strategy, ensuring our tools and platforms have a lasting impact on both internal teams and the broader AI community.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of full-time professional experience as a full-stack engineer, with expertise in modern web technologies, frameworks, and infrastructure.
  • Deep experience in building and debugging client-side and server-side applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Comfortable working in a Bazel monorepo environment, understanding the advantages and complexities of such an architecture.
  • A passion for building systems that deliver an exceptional developer experience, enabling other engineers to create impactful AI tools efficiently.
  • Proven track record of delivering full-stack projects at scale, including frontend and backend components, with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Strong commitment to code quality, best practices, and testing, continuously raising the bar for engineering excellence.
  • Ability to work across disciplines, leveraging broad technical expertise to collaborate effectively with AI engineers, product managers, and infrastructure teams.
  • Deep experience in building and debugging client-side and server-side applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
