About the Role
The Benchmarking Senior Manager will be responsible for deeply understanding the global competitive landscape, including product features and service levels offered by us and our top competitors worldwide.
In this role, you will design and execute data-driven studies that will directly influence our strategic priorities. Benchmarking programs are rigorous, data-driven exercises that will influence our plan for expanding product and service offerings and reinforce our sense of urgency to improve existing products and services.
This position reports directly to our Chief Financial Officer and will be located in Menlo Park.
Be a customer of our products and services to identify areas to improve.
Gain deep understanding of top competitors worldwide, including their products and services and corresponding service levels.
Develop benchmarking metrics to compare us to our top competitors.
Identify emerging trends and technologies that could benefit our customers.
Create and discuss written reports with senior management.
8+ years of relevant work experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented with experience in data driven analysis
Passion for customer experience and very high standards
Self starter, with ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments
Ability to effectively drive multiple competing priorities
Advance degree (MBA, etc.), is preferred
Consulting and/or business advisory experience is preferred
