  • Manage the Outbound Logistics Carrier Operations team – Finished Vehicle Distribution to/from Europe
  • Act as a hands-on contributor while the business scales
  • Coach, mentor and develop staff
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their assigned duties
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members
  • Own the process and carrier performance of distributing vehicles from assembly plant to customer – truck, rail, deep sea, yard and port operations
  • Contribute in the distribution network design and carrier onboarding
  • Contribute to the development of KPI’s used to measure performance of the Outbound distribution function
  • Ensure all KPI’s targets are met
  • Develop expertise in the Transportation Management System
  • Drive efficiencies in the movement of vehicles throughout the distribution network to reduce waste
  • Leverage data to identify exceptions or waste trends and work across teams to develop and measure corrective actions
  • Develop, document and roll out logistics processes as needed
  • Remain flexible in the scope of work that is required
  • Act as back up and support for other roles within the Outbound Logistics team
  • Provide a customer-oriented approach to support the internal customers


  • Finished Vehicle Distribution Experience in Europe
  • Detailed oriented!
  • Experience in directly managing and developing a staff
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or related field, and 5 years of experience in Outbound distribution
  • Flexibility to think methodically and act tactically
  • Ability to develop and interpret business intelligence/data to drive execution and decision-making
  • In-depth understanding of logistics’ relationships with other parts of the automotive ecosystem
