Role Summary

Rivian Self-Driving Infrastructure Team develops infrastructure software to support Rivian autonomy software stack. We are seeking a strong software engineer who will be leading our data-in-loop software infrastructure design and development. You will own the end to end architecture design and software development for autonomy data collection, ingestion, processing and storage.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy software infrastructure for Rivian autonomy software stack
  • Develop necessary tools to support development, debugging and testing
  • Own requirement analysis, architecture design, software development, code review, quality assurance and deployment of entire software engineering life cycle
  • Work closely with other development and cross-functional team members

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong C/C++/Python programming skills
  • Experience with large-scale data collection, data processing and storage
  • Experience in developing software on RTOS
  • Familiar with autonomous driving or robotics technology
  • Familiar with AWS data storage, database and data lake services
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment
  • Good team player with great communication skills
  • Passionately motivated to take ideas from R&D phase to a product
  • Software Development life cycle experience, from requirements gathering through to implementation and maintenance.

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: [$184,000.00 - $211,000.00] (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
