Role Summary 

We are looking for Senior and mid-level Engineers, who feel comfortable with IT software in the categories of Project Management, Whiteboarding & Ideation, Intranet, and Federated Search, among others, and providing specialized solutions in Digital Workplace Services and Delivery.

As part of the Project Team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing a Digital Workplace setup for a broad range of employee teams and stakeholders around various locations. Hands-on experience in both building and ongoing operational excellence is important. You will be working with other, highly qualified application developers, admins, and engineers in cross-functional teams. 

A big advantage of the role is that you will have an end-to-end understanding and influence on what is being built.

Role Responsibilities:  

  • Your main activities will be mostly connected with designing, building, testing, and implementing modern workplace technologies in an enterprise environment. You will be working with IT Infrastructure and other business teams to deliver quality solutions and documentation, including clear procedures and work instructions. You will have an impact on improvements of processes, integrations, and automation of solutions.  
  • By working together with the solutions teams, you will prepare solutions designs and support the end-user with migration activities into the new infrastructure, custom solutions, and ongoing maintenance.  

Qualifications:  

  • We are looking for a person with previous experience in a similar field of infrastructure transformation within the Digital Workplace landscape.
  • Interacts with Project Management Team to plan project schedules and drive technical direction.
  • Provides quality assurance review and the evaluation of code structure for existing and new development projects.
  • Will work to create high-level design diagrams for application design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation.
  • Has the ability to develop and implement moderate to complex web applications on multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for solving technical problems.
  • Can work with little instruction on day-to-day projects and general instructions on new assignments.
  • Manages business and technical considerations when designing solutions to a project, team or company-related issues.
  • Has an advanced skill set in programming/markup languages, databases, server environments, API interaction, and version control systems.
  • Can work alongside a team in the creation, maintenance, and updates of websites/applications for clients in a variety of industries.
  • Must display a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
  • Deep expertise and hands on experience with markup and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue, PHP, C#, .NET, outside API's, etc.
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands on experience with various Web Services such as REST, SOAP, etc.
  • The ability to collaborate with management, departments and clients to hands-on end-user requirements and specifications.
  • The ability to produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
  • The ability to troubleshoot, debug, maintain, test and deploy web sites and applications.
  • Be adaptable to new techniques, languages and hardware.
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
