Utilize Rivian ergonomic tools to perform brief and/or comprehensive evaluations of workstations and work areas for ergonomic risk
Collaborate on continuous improvement activities with department staff, EHS and Ergonomic Engineers
Coach and educate personnel on body mechanics, procedures and best practices
Work closely with team members, engineers, and others to gain an understand of the work performed in the plant
Participate and lead ergonomic assessments on the production floor, at warehouses and in other settings
Provide feedback to Manufacturing/Process Engineering and Ergonomics Engineers related to policies, procedures, equipment, work environment to prevent incidents and illnesses
Participate on investigation/learning teams in the event of ergonomic injury/illness
Build and cultivate relationships with various functional groups
Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP) or eligible (desired)
Some experience with; NIOSH lifting Equation, Energy Expenditure analysis, 3DSSPP, RULA, REBA, Biomechanical Model, Fatigue Analysis, Push Pull Carry Tables, Anthropometric charts, OCRA, OWAS, Duty Cycle Equation, Strain Index, Force Exertion Calculator, other Ergonomic Evaluations tools.
Basic knowledge of ISO Ergonomic standards
Basic knowledge of manufacturing systems
Basic knowledge of Health and Safety and OSHA
