Testing & Validation of Electric Drive subsystems, Traction Motors, Thermal & lube systems.
Participate in lab equipment selection for Motor & EV drive unit test systems.
Design, Develop & Debug test set ups, run test sequences, hold responsibility to run end to end testing & validation activities.
Work with Internal/external labs to set up tests, create data acquisition systems & perform/lead the test activity at internal/external labs.
Create summary data reports for all conducted tests and provide data analytics from the collected data.
Derive test procedures based on Engineering requirements.
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field of Engineering with 3 years of testing & development experience.
Required experience in Testing automotive powertrain systems, preferred in Hybrid or Electric drive systems.
Experience in instrumentation such as torque meters, thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers, pressure gauges, flow meters etc.
Knowledge in CAN communication, data acquisition, data analysis & data visualization is preferred.
Knowledge of creating DVPR, test procedures, hands on with test set up & prepare test reports.
Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
