Design, build, test, document, deploy and maintain scalable, highly available visualization tools.
Drive continual improvement to system architecture.
Work with algorithm development teams such as Perception, Planning & Controls, and Embedded Software to understand requirements.
Collaborate with DevOps for cloud rollouts, upgrades, and maintenance.
Produce high-quality code in an agile environment.
Work with QA and other engineering teams to investigate and resolve production issues.
B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a related field or a related field or equivalent experience
5 + Years of relevant experience.
Proven hands-on coding skills with C++, Python.
Strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures, multi-threading, scaling, reliability, and software engineering best practices.
Basic knowledge of game engines (Unreal engine 4 preferred).
Good experience in WebSockets, Docker, CI/CD pipelines and RESTful APIs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
Good team player with great communication skills.
Passionately motivated to take ideas from R&D phase to a product.
Ability to write well documented code with good unit test coverage.
Experience with service-oriented architectures and web application/API development.
Ability to analyze and translate data from car sensors to 3D models.
Familiarity with inter-process communication.
Familiarity in developing real-time visualization tools for self-driving systems.
Familiarity with ROS2, Lua scripting, CAN (Controller Area Network), BLF (Binary Logging Format), MDF (Measurement Data Format), PCAP (Packet Capture) would be a plus.
