This is what you’ll do:
Responsible for triaging vehicle software defect reports (bugs) from multiple sources (including internal and customer-facing issues) into their appropriate components or teams
Ensure bug reports have sufficient information for diagnosis and prioritization, including severity, customer impact, reproducibility, ownership, etc.
Develop bug trend reports on a per-component and per-release basis
Provide visibility into the latest ticket status and highlight items that appear to have stalled
Work with cross-functional teams and other Technical Program Managers to ensure timely delivery of software fixes (includes, but not limited to, SW application, Integration, System Test, Security, Hardware teams)
Package release notes and system updates for bug fixes in a given release
this is what you’ll need:
BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in an IT-related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Development
Experienced with defect management and working with cross-functional teams in a firmware environment
Experienced with task management tools such as Jira
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven ability to work with ambiguity and be self-motivated
Familiarity with Agile methodology and continuous integration concepts for developing and implementing software
Automotive experience preferred, but not required
