This is what you’ll do:
Lead Mold flow analysis for Interior Injection tools both internally and through 3rd party vendors.
Consults and collaborates with engineering, tooling and manufacturing personnel to optimize part design, tool design, and processing of injection molding tools.
Provide Internal “Introduction to mold flow analysis “ training to design engineers.
Ensure robust tooling Ok-to-Tool is completed on-time through simulation validation.
Develop and teach common engineering interior engineering disciplines and ensure consistent use of these disciplines in all programs.
Zoom-out on all incoming mold flows to ensure efficient executions.
Engage with Rivian centralized CAE team to utilize standard Rivian practices and procedures are maintained.
Develop and maintain Best Practices: Design Standards, Test Procedures, Technical Specifications, etc.
Lead collaborative problem-solving including interfaces with non-interior teams.
This is what you’ll need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Minimum 7 years’ of progressively responsible experience with demonstrated success.
Mastery of AutoDesk, Moldex 3D, Catia V5, Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate clearly to a broad audience through verbal and written methods.
A deep passion and Innate Curiosity for continuous improvement.
