Drive a data culture and solving multiple data use cases using vehicle and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) data
Work with Self-Driving Engineers to understand the ADAS features, data generated by the features and convert it into insightful information
Develop metrics and statistical models that interpret trends and convert data into insights that improve engineering performance.
Work with the data engineering team to put the right data infrastructure and models in place to support analytics
MS or PhD in statistics, math, physics, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Data Science
Experience deploying feature and model pipelines at scale and monitoring model performance
Strong statistical programming skills with Python or R
Strong background in using Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, Plotly, etc.)
Experience in machine learning techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, Bayesian Optimization, etc.
Strong understanding of data warehouse, relational and columnar databases like Redshift, Snowflake.
Hands-on experience in creating dashboards in Tableau or equivalent tools.
Experience with TensorFlow
Experience in Self-Driving or Automotive industry
Hands-on experience with AWS Services like Sagemaker, S3, Redshift, Glue
