THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Coordinate and execute on the testing of bug fixes and new feature validation relating to over the air updates.
Work alongside the OTA team and the rest of the software organization to test and triage issues found during vehicle updates.
Feedback any issues found with the vehicle update process and track them to root cause and resolution.
Work with test engineers to ensure full test coverage is defined and implemented.
Contribute to the definition of logging and data collection requirements for efficient diagnosis of update failures.
Work with other organizations across the company to test and validate improvements to the fleet management tools and strategy.
THIS IS WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
Strong organizational skills able to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout project life cycle.
Software development experience. Able to code, familiar with Git, Jira, and software development lifecycle.
Self starter able to define and execute against a plan with minimal guidance.
Ability to multitask and apply creative and critically thinking to deliver exceptional results.
Good communication, able to convey both detailed explanations and high level status updates and know when each is appropriate.
Automotive, CAN, Ethernet experience a plus.
