We operate development centers in Plymouth, Michigan; Southern California (Irvine, Carson & LA); Silicon Valley (San Jose and Palo Alto); Vancouver, British Columbia; and Surrey, England; as well as a manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois.
Execute daily software integration testing
Capture and analyze data/bugs to drive continuous improvements
Develop and run multi-tiered software test suites that ensure detection of regression
Be a part of the team preparing and conducting performance tests, including processing data and generating reports
Work cross-functionally with other Rivian teams to diagnose and root cause bugs
Support the team on test trips (hot, cold, mileage accumulation etc.)
A degree in either Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
Strong knowledge and experience with CAN, LIN, ETH
Strong knowledge of electric vehicles (EVs) and High Voltage systems
2-4+ years of experience in vehicle firmware testing and debugging
Ability to take large concepts, decompose into realizable deliverables and work with team members to distribute tasks and execute individual responsibilities with minimal guidance
Ability to thrive under pressure and time constraints, apply creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
