Role Summary:
Rivian’s growing Communications team seeks a Corporate Communications
Manager to assist with the team’s growing needs across company partnerships, emerging
projects, and business and trade media requests. This position is based in Irvine, CA;
relocation is provided, and we encourage applicants from other locations to apply.
Responsibilities:
-You’ll cooperate with our partners to share our news and route inbound inquiries from
business and trade reporters, as well as those who report on Rivian’s partnerships.
-You’ll work with our suppliers and partners to develop stories and mine for joint news
opportunities.
-You’ll grow and maintain contacts in the B-to-B, fleet, and trade media spaces.
-You’ll track perception of these spaces over time and will never stop looking for
unexpected opportunities for Rivian’s tech-side projects to celebrate their design,
engineering, and deployment success.
Preferred experience:
-You have a couple years of experience with B-to-B, energy, or technology
communication. Got a little less? Talk to us about why you’re a great fit.
-You’re excited by technology- distilling complex material and finding the right narrative
for the right audience is what you’d love to be doing. You love drilling into “why.”
-You prefer to work as part of a lean, disciplined, high-responsibility comms team.
-You’ve prepared coverage reports and make a mean deck.
