Responsibilities
This is what you’ll do:
Public road driving prototype and benchmark vehicles-Closed course driving of prototype and benchmark vehicles
Evaluation of vehicles upon commissioning
Ride and drive demos of Rivian vehicles (Marketing Events, Customer Trade Shows)
Business Driving (including USA Familiarization as required)
Level 2 Driving- Development vehicle usage and movements
Level 3 Driving- Public roads testing and sub-limit testing on proving grounds
This is what you’ll need: - 2+ years in a similar role, with a track record for responsible and safe driving - Willing to travel upwards of 50% of the time - Motorsports background/experience a plus - Able to complete consistent circuits of a development plan and provide sufficient documentation of time and mileage (vehicle data logging) - Great communication with the engineering community about vehicle conditions that change shift over shift - Ability to sit/drive for up to 8 hours consecutively
