Responsibilities
Integrate software and hardware to ensure end to end functionality of body controls features including closures, interior and exterior lighting, vehicle access, storage, comfort, and accessories.
Help define and execute test cases for new features
Help root cause software, mechanical, and electrical bugs in lab and on vehicle
Work with test automation teams to improve coverage of issues found
Collaborate with low voltage electrical teams to define interfaces and integrate supplier components
Work with UX/UI teams to ensure system achieves user stories
Work with prototype and factory teams to commission new vehicles
Qualifications
Strong understanding of electromechanical systems
A degree in either Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Engineering
Experiences with tools for measurement and integration such as CANalyzer, CANape, INCA, or similar.
Ability to thrive under pressure and apply creative and critical thinking to deliver exceptional results
Good team player with great communication skills
