Job Summary: 

In this position you will...Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator becomes a conduit of support and fosters inter-department communications for sustainability, safety and environmental matters. The position drives engagement through communication and educates team members on sustainability, safety and environmental initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for employees. In addition, the position supports and drives continuous improvement at the multiple sites, works with team members to identify solutions to EHS issues/challenges.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with multiple groups and teams with diverse backgrounds.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety regulations.
  • Understands and influences human behaviors to reduce workplace risks.
  • Engage and guide others to assess risk, identify hazards, and implement appropriate controls.
  • Support development and implementation of routine inspections
  • Support in Job Hazard Assessments
  • Other tasks as needed to support the Environmental, Health & Safety team.
  • Travel to various sites in Southern California (primarily Irvine, CA)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Great communication skills with a wide variety of personnel from various cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office products
