The Rivian Service Operations Team is a dynamic group that ensures every Rivian driver receives premium service anytime vehicle maintenance or repair needs arise.  We provide premium, seamless, and convenient solutions via our network of Rivian owned service centers, mobile service vehicles, and network of service parts.

We are always looking for top talent - customer-centric professionals in a broad variety of roles to help us continuously develop and improve the quality and range of our service and products. The Service Operations Team at Rivian encompasses critical components of vehicle service such as service engineering, collision repair, service parts, programs & operations, technical support, field teams, and remanufacturing. 

The Service Systems and Integration team manages the digital integrations of all systems deemed necessary for the Service Operations Team into the Rivian Service OS. This role will ensure a seamless and positive experience for customers and the Rivian employees who support them.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of resources who will support system requirements gathering across all Service Operations functional teams to launch, sustain, and improve our ERP system of record and our Service Operating System
  • Control the master critical path across all teams to ensure seamless dependency mapping and clear direction to go-live
  • Develop robust mitigation strategies with business partners to ensure readiness at Go-Live
  • Facilitate cross-functional program reviews from Level 1 program tracking, down to Epics and User story details to validate assumptions
  • Support efforts related to IT sprints, reporting progress along the way in Jira and Confluence for the product briefs and team collaboration
  • Identify and lead critical dependency mapping across systems focusing on critical integrations for incident management
  • Participate in testing, configuration, and implementation of Service OS and SAP from Order to Invoice and Service across (Demand/MRP Planning, EWM, Scheduling, Dispatch, Service Task Management, Mobile Service, and Collision)
  • Collaborate on developing a feedback mechanism for service operating system users & drive development of service systems for operational efficiency

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ yrs of applicable ERP, Systems Integration experience and at least 2 yrs leading people
  • BS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and experience in systems implementation/launch. Masters preferred
  • Creating and organizing new projects, configuring layout, design, and workflow with JIRA
  • SAP implementation experience (Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, EWM) – Service Parts Planning a plus
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and ingest many different inputs and business processes to enable quick systems readiness tracking for Go-Live and beyond
  • Ability to lead teams and take responsibility for project success
  • Experience with systems integration across multiple platforms
  • Ability to learn new systems/software quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
  • A customer-centric mindset to provide exceptional customer service and vehicle ownership experience
  • Passion to organize and drive continuously to develop, improve, and maintain processes critical to the success of the Service Operations Team
  • Ability to learn new systems/software quickly and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment
  • Effective collaboration skills with individuals, groups, and vendors
  • Proven track record of system development and implementation
  • Web developer experience a plus
