We operate development centers in Plymouth, Michigan; Southern California (Irvine, Carson & LA); Silicon Valley (San Jose and Palo Alto); Vancouver, British Columbia; and Surrey, England; as well as a manufacturing facility in Normal, Illinois.
In this position you will perform general facility maintenance and small projects. This includes but is not limited to: light carpentry work, paint touch-ups, replacement of light and door fixtures, floor polishing, and other small projects as needed.
Minor drywall repair
Paint touch-ups around the plant
Preparation of surfaces to prepare for painting and/or touch-ups
Utilize equipment to get to high to reach places
Light carpentry as required
Light fixture replacement
Other projects as needed
Follow all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED) preferred
Knowledge of basic hand tools
Familiar with surface prep and paint of various surfaces (metal, wood, drywall)
Familiar with spray painting equipment
Familiar with aerial equipment (man lifts, scissor lifts) and comfortable working at heights
