Role Summary

The Accounting Intern will support our Corporate Finance team with financial reporting, and month end activities. 

Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with our accounting and financial reporting system
  • Assist with monthly closing procedures including reconciliations
  • Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited local university with a major in Accounting
  • Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written or verbal communication skills in a professional environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to make sense of ambiguous situations and drive towards clarity and unity
  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
  • Intellectual curiosity to drive the detailed understanding of business performance, decision making, and communication
  • Strong project management, planning, and organization skills
  • Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices
  • Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
