Role Summary
The Accounting Intern will support our Corporate Finance team with financial reporting, and month end activities.
Responsibilities
Become familiar with our accounting and financial reporting system
Assist with monthly closing procedures including reconciliations
Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned
Qualifications
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited local university with a major in Accounting
Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written or verbal communication skills in a professional environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Ability to make sense of ambiguous situations and drive towards clarity and unity
Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
Intellectual curiosity to drive the detailed understanding of business performance, decision making, and communication
Strong project management, planning, and organization skills
Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
