Role Summary
The Facilities Finance team leads cost analysis and data reporting to help our leadership optimize resources and make data-driven decisions in order to scale our footprint, including production facilities, offices, retail sites, service centers, and charging network. This role will lead efforts to validate cost assumptions, develop automated reporting, and identify process inefficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Design and build business partner reports and dashboards with KPIs, historical actuals, and forecast.
- Validate and challenge current assumptions, such as capital cash flow timing, construction cost per SF, rent, and other operating costs
- Investigate and summarize internal program costs such as Security, Transportation, and Culinary; Propose cost optimization and evaluate employee experience impact
- Identify and evaluate accounting treatment of real estate related commitments and obligations for financial reporting
- Develop dashboards using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or Adaptive Insights; Automate dataflow between systems; Streamline financial modeling to minimize manual processes
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MBA or Masters in Market Research, Data Science, Product Management, Marketing, Economics, Business, Psychology or similar
- 2 years of public accounting, corporate finance, banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting experience
- CFA, FRM, and/or CPA or foreign accountancy equivalent
- Ability to make sense of ambiguous situations and drive towards clarity and unity
- Strong interpersonal and team-building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries
- Intellectual curiosity to drive the detailed understanding of business performance, decision making, and communication
- Effective communication and strategic thinking skills
- Strong financial modeling (e.g., Excel power user), spreadsheet, and presentation skills
- Strong project management, planning, and organization skills
- Continuous improvement attitude; ability to suggest and implement best practices
- Tableau / Power BI / Adaptive Insights / SQL skills are a huge plus
- Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
