Role Summary
As a Battery Testing Intern, you will support the team’s efforts to characterize and validate the battery pack at various different system levels.
Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of tests for current and future battery pack designs
Work cross-functionally with the validation, battery management, and mechanical design team to coordinate work with battery technicians
Report findings on performance and degradation back to the team
Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar Engineering degree at the time of application (Junior-Senior preferred)
Python scripting knowledge required
Exposure to thermo-dynamics, and linear circuits preferred. If have exposure to lithium-ion battery that's a plus
FSAE, Baja, Eco-Car, E-Car or similar mobility club experience preferred
Personal interests in sustainability, sustainable energy solutions
A desire to find more efficient ways of taking and processing big data sets
Strategic thinking with high level of resiliency and patience
Self-motivated and committed to deliver high quality work on time
Personal interest in outdoors and healthy lifestyle is a plus
Working Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
