This is what you’ll do:
·Conduct routine evaluations of all Rivian sites and surrounding areas to make improvements to overall site safety, security and emergency response infrastructure.
·Help build Standard Operating Procedures and training program for the Emergency Management program.
·Facilitates the completion of post-incident response reviews and partners with affected teams and site leadership to confirm that improvement opportunities are effectively deployed across all Rivian sites in a timely manner.
·Perform job duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines, specifically NFPA, OSHA and EPA.
·Complies with all company policies and procedures.
·Recommend corrective actions, and lead teams to completion, as needed.
·Understands federal and state occupational safety and health regulations and monitors regulatory changes as they occur.
·Follow all aspects of the site Environmental, Health and Safety Policy as it pertains to normal job duties.
·Perform other duties as assigned.
·Ability to manage change to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
·Able to travel to various locations.
This is what you’ll need:
·Ability to analyze and evaluate pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.
·Familiar with National Incident Management System (NIMS), Incident Command and Emergency Management.
·Experience with California regulations preferred.
·Must be self-motivated with great communication skills.
·Ability to work in a fast paced, multi-cultural, team-oriented environment.
·Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
