In this position you will be responsible for technical project management of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies’ (PCBA) development, prototype fabrication, and transition into high volume manufacturing by Tier1 suppliers.
Project management of EPC PCBAs development
Milestone development and tracking
Ensuring that PCBAs BOMs are released and sourced
Management of PCBA suppliers
Conducting re-occurring meetings with Prototype Suppliers and Production Supplier as needed
Support production supplier sourcing activities
Support End-of-line (FCT) test activities and requirements
Manage and Control Test Requirements releases
Manage data files storage and exchange with Configuration Management
Determine appropriate board quantities, timing, and delivery
Collaborate with Component Engineer and SQE, in support of BOM maintenance
Manage and communicate PCBA change and maturity
Coordinate staged changes with Software Development and Test Equipment activities
Issue tracking, corrective action implementations using JIRA and other tools
Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology field or related work experience
3+ years automotive experience in program management
Understanding of automotive engineering release processes
Good knowledge of program management process and vehicle development timeline tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
Experience creating and implementing new project/program management processes
Strong organizational and communication skills required
Familiarity of Catia and Enovia is preferred
