Rivian is looking for a Jr. Product Designer to join a team of full-stack product designers. In this role you will report to a Sr. Product Designer and will be building upon and supporting new and existing Rivian products (i.e. home page, product page, vehicle configurator, and navigation). You will be working through design challenges and problems that have a clear direction and objective and partnering with UXR to look for continual improvements.
This is what you'll do:
Collaborate and support the design team to bring to life high fidelity designs and updates for a series of products
Work with UXR to review UX/UI/Content of live products and test and implement updates
Support in evolving product features into wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs and prototypes
This is what you'll need:
1-2 years of experience in interactive, ui, or visual design
Experience iterating on products as well as building products from scratch
Excellent visual design skills
Experience working with and utilizing design systems
Expertise with tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
Strong body of work that demonstrates an understanding of interactive design as it applies to responsive web, and/or alternative digital products (online body of work required for application)
Great communication skills and a history of teamwork and collaboration
Ideally, you'll also have:
Understanding of software implementation process (no coding required)
Agile environment experience
Usability testing experience
