The Thermal Intern will be responsible for supporting Thermal Systems and Thermal feature development team with capturing use cases and coordinating cross-functional teams to cascade appropriate requirements. The role also will coordinate thermal systems team and simulation team to support system development.
Capture use cases for thermal feature and requirements to execute the feature
Collaborate tightly with validation team to ensure efficient implementation and validation of new features, components and systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture feature development requirements
Coordinating thermal systems team and analysis team to develop the system and capture necessary requirements along with cascading the information to thermal team
Advanced degree (MSME) in Mechanical Engineering with specialty in refrigerant cycle, heat transfer, thermodynamics & fluid mechanics preferred
Good understanding of vehicle thermal management concepts, including flow architecture, heat rejection methods, and basic climate control functions
Strong first principle background of heat transfer and thermo-fluids
Strong technical writing and communication skills
EV Thermal system and thermal component experience is highly beneficial
