Riverside research is seeking a full-time Technical Project Coordinator to lead the planning and coordination activities associated with the field deployment of a multi-site system. This individual will provide support to internal modeling assessments and design activities related to the fabrication of an IR calibration system. They will be responsible for planning all outreach activities associated with site feasibility assessments and site selection, and will coordinate with site POCs to facilitate site visits and support site evaluations. Strong communication and organizational skills are required. Periodic travel required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to site characterization and modeling efforts
- Support the design, build and test activities of an IR Calibration system
- Coordinate with team members on the selection of candidate deployment sites
- Lead communication and outreach with site POCs to coordinate operations logistics
- Travel to sites to perform site surveys
- Identify and document candidate deployment site strengths and weaknesses
- Develop and present briefings on project status
- Support program technical interchange meetings and reviews
- Ability to work and interact with technically and organizationally diverse personnel
Required Qualifications:
- Must be clearable (able to obtain and maintain a clearance up to TS/SCI)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., engineering, meteorology, mathematics or physics)
- Experience supporting complex projects, short deadlines, and competing priorities with distributed teams
- Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and ability to work both independently and as a team player
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Open to regular travel across the United States (25%)
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of remote sensing principles
- Experience building hardware prototypes and strong problem solving skills
- SECRET Security Clearance
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
