We’re looking for an ambitious Content Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team. In this role, you’ll be primarily responsible for creating and executing an effective content strategy that influences audiences throughout various stages of the buying journey, driving product and purchases. This position can be Vancouver or Toronto based.

What you’ll do:

  • Effective Content Strategy:
    • Create and execute a cross-platform persuasive content strategy that influences audiences throughout various stages of the buying journey, ultimately driving product and purchases.
    • Collaborate with Web, Inbound, Product Marketing, Demand Gen and research teams to build a web content strategy and publishing processes, ensuring a seamless user journey based on persona-based segmentation.
    • Provide insights and guidance on innovative content strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
    • Maintain Rival Group messaging framework and socialize within Marketing and Sales to gain alignment and adoption.
  • Thought Leadership and Next-Generation Content Marketing:
    • Establish strong relationships with executives, thought leaders, and subject matter experts across the organization to source impactful content ideas.
    • Develop a clear vision and distinctive POV for next-generation content marketing, including content planning, prioritization and development.
  • Editorial Calendar and Content Planning:
    • Lead the development and management of a quarterly and annual editorial calendar.
    • Socialize the plan and communicate its outcome.
  • Data-Driven Content Optimization:
    • Utilize data and analytics to define key performance metrics and continuously refine the content strategy based on data-driven insights.
    • Leverage data from multiple sources to create relevant and engaging content across various channels.

What You'll Have:  

  • Experience and Expertise:
    • 5 years of proven experience in driving successful, scalable, and high-impact content strategies within fast-growing technology and services companies.
    • A digital native with a deep understanding of digital customer journeys and the ability to build brand relevance through content optimization and compelling experiences
    • Demonstrated ability to transform ideas into compelling story arcs that resonate with the target audience.
  • Data-Driven and Collaborative Approach:
    • Strong acumen in analyzing data from various sources to inform content decisions and optimize performance.
    • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills, with a track record of building productive team partnerships.
  • Innovative Mindset:
    • Proven ability to push boundaries and challenge conventional content marketing approaches, constantly seeking new and innovative strategies.

We’re committed to pay equity/fair pay practices and closing the gender salary gap. 

  • Pay range for this role: $85,000 - $100,000 CAD depending on experience - we are open to Toronto and Vancouver based.
