This role
Risk Ledger is looking for a trailblazer to play an integral part in a rare, exciting role opportunity. You’ll be joining a tight knit team of SDR’s but with a very specific role just for you: Our sales strategy requires a high performing individual to come in and work closely with the SDR manager to test out new territories and verticals for Risk Ledger. These would primarily be focused in the UK, and Nordics. Success here will have the potential to drive short, medium and long term revenue growth for the business, and open up a host of opportunities for you.
In the role you will:
- Be responsible for driving our growth strategy in test regions: sourcing, qualifying and nurturing prospects at the top of the sales funnel. This will be achieved through several channels including cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn
- Have the autonomy to build and execute on campaign plans for these verticals, with the support of the SDR Manager and the marketing team
- Consistently tracking and feeding back on the success of these regions, ready to pivot if needed or expand on areas of success identified
- Conduct full discovery calls in order to qualify opportunities for the Account Executives
- Attend events to meet with prospective clients to generate opportunities for the business
- Track information in our CRM for you, the Account Executives and the Marketing department’s benefit
You’ll have:
- A minimum of 1 year working in an SDR / BDR position
- Cybersecurity or SaaS experience (Cybersec preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, being able to articulately communicate Risk Ledger’s value proposition to key stakeholders and effectively report campaign feedback back to the team
- Experience and be comfortable cold calling/emailing to grow your sales pipeline
- A highly proactive self starter mindset, target driven and thrive off a competitive environment with the autonomy to test out your own campaigns in new regions no one else is working
- A love for problem solving; thinking laterally to find innovative ways of generating interest from prospects
- A positive attitude and ability to listen to feedback to drive your own performance
