Summary & Scope:

 The Director of Marketing will be in charge of leading all efforts of Rise’s internal Marketing team. This individual will develop the strategic vision and roadmap to fuel the company’s growth and manage the Rise brand. Bringing a combination of marketing quant rigor, experience, creativity, and strategic thinking, this individual will lead a team of marketers that service the entirety of Rise Interactive’s reach. It is critical that the person who fills this role has the ability to build and manage executable marketing programs built on Rise’s data-driven approach. Additionally, it is essential that the person has extensive experience in both demand generation and lead generation marketing. This role will report to Rise’s Chief Executive Officer, and will partner with the Corporate Marketing team at Rise’s parent company Quad to ensure alignment and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Rise Interactive’s Marketing service line
  • Partner and coordinate marketing strategy and efforts with the Quad Corporate Marketing team
  • Drive new business pipeline using interactive marketing, thought leadership, events, PR, the Rise website, outbound sales enablement, and industry analyst relations
  • Manage a holistic marketing plan that clearly defines the audience and target account list, as well as the messaging and media strategy to reach each audience
  • Manage, and continually enhance, a marketing measurement framework to understand the effectiveness of the marketing strategy, as well as our performance towards achieving our goal
  • Direct and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that is syndicated through all marketing channels
  • Assess, develop and build a world class marketing team that can help shape the strategy, as well as execute appropriately.
  • Execute all elements of the marketing plan
  • Run a wide range of email campaigns and with campaign automation and/or ESP tools with a variety of features
  • Build and execute the strategic roadmap of riseinteractive.com
  • Determine and implement outbound sales/marketing tech stack including Salesforce needs, sales intelligence tools, and more
  • Work in lockstep with digital strategy team to generate new business opportunities
  • Educate and communicate the Rise marketing strategy to executives and Risers
  • Support our culture of intensity and speed to ensure that we are working aggressively to achieve our goals
  • Lead all teams by pushing forward creative ideas and thoughtful leadership
  • Serve as trusted voice by assimilating marketplace insights into the development of creative strategies and innovating marketing campaigns
  • Manage the annual marketing budget
  • Display a thorough understanding of assigned target industries and Company's competitive advantages
  • Hire and develop individuals to maximize their full potential
  • Use analysis to drive decisions that yield measurable results
  • Demonstrate leadership, planning, management, organizational, and supervisory skills

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of Digital Marketing Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in CRM/digital marketing; agency or in-house experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with Social Listening tools, Social Management Platforms, Digital Media, Data Management Platforms, Trafficking Tools, The Adobe Marketing Cloud (Omniture, specifically), and CRM technology is critical
  • Demonstrates expertise and understanding of CRM principles in B2B and B2C spaces
  • Exceptional research, analysis, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Applicable management experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment to develop and execute strategies and drive outcomes for the business
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively with proven consulting skills that focus on innovative and measurable solutions
  • Experience with metrics and data to provide executive decision support
  • Self-motivated team player. Results driven and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
