Summary and Scope

The Salesforce Developer is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more business technologies. You are key player in supporting the business and works on initiatives to define business processes and requirements and to lead the organization in identifying, selecting, implementing, and administering business technologies.In this role, internal teams will be your collaborators as you support and implement technology solutions that run our business.

Responsiblities:

  • Translate the strategic and tactical business needs into functional requirements to develop user interfaces and work flows to meet requirements between business units or between business and technology
  • Maintain a strong understanding of business processes, strategies, and data needs as well as IT capabilities and capacity, and participate in filtering and prioritizing requests accordingly with the product owners
  • Has a thorough understanding of all systems and integration of such systems supported by the IT staff
  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems
  • Develop expertise in configuration tools and rules engine authoring and maintenance
  • Build all custom workflows to support the sales, marketing and other operational processes
  • Build dashboards with key performance and business metrics
  • As system admin, responsible for all system maintenance and updates

Required Skills:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce’s declarative capabilities, including workflows / validation rules / approval processes, process builder, data security features, and deployment of change sets
  • Ability to create technical documentation to support new builds and releases
  • In-depth knowledge of CRM strategy and systems
  • Demonstrable skills in gathering and translating business requirements into actionable project plans
  • Proven experience building components of a Salesforce system to support core business processes
  • Experience working in a team-oriented Agile driven scrum framework, collaborative environment
  • Work well in team settings, but also on their own with minimal supervision; take charge in managing specific projects on occasion and supervise junior employees to ensure that analyses are completed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development and implementation of software and hardware solutions, or systems
  • Flexible in the face of changing priorities, with the ability to multi-task, and handle urgent interruptions with high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Excellent analytical, process design and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and demonstrated project management experience
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
  • Ability to coordinate with implementation partners, other IT managers, internal stakeholders and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback
  • Data migration and integration experience between various external applications
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
