Description

The Talent Development Intern will play a pivotal role in supporting employee growth across three core areas: Talent Management, Learning and Development, and Talent Programs. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in diverse facets of Talent Development and Human Resources, collaborating closely with experienced professionals in each functional area. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in facilitating the development and growth of our employees, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive within the organization. As a valuable member of our team, the Talent Development Intern will actively contribute to numerous initiatives aimed at enriching employee skills, fostering growth and employee engagement, and nurturing development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Management

  • Create and edit resources for career and performance management initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives 
  • Perform goal audits to support talent management efforts.
  • Maintain and update the Talent Management portal page to ensure relevancy and accuracy.

Learning and Development

  • Provide visual support for Learning projects as requested.
  • Organize LMS (Learning Management System) demo data and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in marketing Learning and Development training courses to stakeholders to encourage engagement.
  • Support data work for reporting as needed to provide insights into learning outcomes and effectiveness.
  • Observe current Learning and Development administrative processes to create documentation and suggest process improvements.

Talent Programs

  • Assist in the creation, editing, and maintenance of marketing materials and content for programs such as Early Careers, Talent Mobility, and Onboarding.
  • Update and refresh Google sites to provide relevant information and resources for Talent Programs.
  • Create, update, and manage tracking sheets to monitor the progress and effectiveness of Talent Programs.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work activity based on need, attention to detail, initiative, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • High level of proficiency with desktop computing tools such as spreadsheets and presentation tools in Google Workspace and Microsoft.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and/or HCMS (Human Capital Management Systems) is a plus.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment.
  • Prior internship or coursework experience in talent development, human resources, or related fields is preferred but not required.
