Are you a hard-working and dedicated engineer and an inquisitive problem solver? If so, then Tektronix might be the place for you! We are seeking a six-month Co-Op to join our Applications team! As part of Applications, we strive to develop a deep understanding of how our customers are using our products. Through this deep customer collaborate the applications team works multi-functionally to help drive the product road-map to meet customer future needs.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in applications engineering tasks in support of new product introduction (NPI) programs and customer development activities.
- Conduct conversations to elicit input into product definition, testing end user devices with test equipment.
- Collaborate other specialists to craft training and marketing materials for sales personnel and field applications engineers.
- Partner with the sales team to drive customer preference for our products and provide pre-and-post-sale engineering support.

A successful candidate will be a fast learner, hard-working, and self-motivated individual with a curiosity about applications. Other highly valued skills include:
- Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Must be able to work for 6 months from January - May 2024
- Experience with test and measurement equipment as well as proven understanding in engineering concepts are required.
- Familiarity with semiconductor device physics.
- Proven understanding of computer programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience in National Instruments’ LabVIEW is helpful.
- Ability to develop deep customer relationships and poses detail-orientation needed to engage in multiple customer interactions quickly and accurately.
