Requirements for the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification may be advantageous.
- Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or related fields is a plus.
- Fundamental knowledge of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, construction, and design.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Ability to assist in the planning, design, and oversight of construction projects.
- Basic experience in conducting site inspections and surveys to gather data for engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
