About the team + role 

The Robinhood Asset Management team is responsible for delivering investment and financial advice to its customers. We’re looking for an Investment Strategy Intern to support the investment strategy team's development of investment views and process to achieve the goals of a strong advice franchise and help set the path for a customer-friendly, uniquely compelling, compliant advisory product. 

  

What you’ll do

  •  Partner with the Head of Research and Sr. Director of Investment Strategy to support and improve the portfolio construction methodology.
  • Perform research on broad markets and individual companies to support investment decisions.
  • Drive analysis and execution on high priority projects that impact advice given to our customers relative to our product set
  • Develop written policy and procedures when new features are introduced or methodology changes are developed
  • Help in identifying and resolving operational and compliance issues that may arise during daily activities

 

What you bring 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in Finance or Quantitative field
  • 2+ years of fundamental or quantitative research or quantitative portfolio construction experience at an RIA, broker-dealer, or financial services firm
  • Knowledge of investment concepts, portfolio management, suitability
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, learn quickly, think critically, and prioritize/own multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop beneficial working relationships
  • Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
  • Resourcefulness, persistence, and ability to thrive in fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong analytical abilities, proficiency with data, and familiarity with making data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional written and communication skills

The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan.

US Zone 1: $56 per hour

 

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones, which you can view here. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
