We are looking for a Controls Engineering Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director of Development Engineering and based in San Jose, CA
Role and Responsibilities:
- Propose enhancements, optimizations, and failure analysis to existing control strategies
- Support simulation design and modeling of fuel cell systems with a data driven approach
- Manage and create methods for interpretation of system data
- Create documentation including, but not limited to design input requirements, specifications, testing protocols
- Collaborate with other teams
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Excellent knowledge of MATLAB and simulation environment
- Experience with data analysis in Python or MATLAB
- Experience with C/Python software development and embedded coding
- Experience with version control software GitHub/GitLab preferred
- Experience in developing model predictive control
- Experience in porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing code
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, production oriented environment
- Understanding of diagnostic techniques for system components
