The role reports to the Continuous Improvement Manager and is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Your responsibilities

  • Primary focus will be on engineering time studies in manufacturing operations, working with machine operators and operation leaders on operation standards
  • Also, involved with continuous improvement activities in the facility in all functions, including Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE), Quality, and Lean manufacturing
  • Introduction and involvement with Research & Development (R&D) activities with corporate engineering team in Memphis, Tennessee
  • Support of all personal and professional development activities

Your background

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in the United States
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
  • Experience in AutoCAD software use
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress
