General Description:
Exciting summer internship opportunity to work with HRL’s Quality Assurance department on a continuous improvement project related to records management. HRL retains records as part of our business, as well as to support AS9100/ISO 9001 certifications and compliance to customer requirements and government regulations. This role will work with HRL’s Document Control group on a project to improve the HRL records retention process. This will include working with department representatives across HRL to identify value-added improvements, update related documentation, and support improvements within the Document Control group.
Essential Duties:
- Work on records retention continuous improvement project
Required Skills:
- Computer office app proficiency (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good writing skills to generate process documentation, including instructions
- Excellent organization skills, including record keeping
- Attention to detail
- Good problem solving skills
- Good communication
- Works well in a team environment
Required Education:
Currently in an undergraduate program associated to business, communications, information services, or related majors. Coursework completed related to project management or business communications preferred.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $24 - $28 per hour.
