As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will gain insight to corporate finance and have the chance to contribute to business issues and often include interaction with senior leadership of Tektronix. We have a robust rotational program for our Finance team and the internship experience is crafted to reflect this as much as possible. Throughout the summer, interns will work on 2-3 main projects spanning multiple organizations, shadow strategic meetings, tackle ad hoc analyses, and conduct 1:1s across organizations to gain exposure to cross-functional business areas.
Requirements:
- Conduct regression analysis on external data to resolve correlation with company sales and develop a market proxy model
- Model new, critical metrics for manufacturing leaders to glean insights into indirect productivity trends
- Analyze past and future internal research and development expense profiles to uncover investment trends to share with engineering leaders
- All internship projects conclude with presentation of your work to the CFO and other senior leaders
Qualifications:
- Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Economics
- A motivated and driven individual with high degree of integrity would be ideal
- Works optimally within a team to meet sophisticated business needs
- Ideal candidate will have strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Growth mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
