The role reports to the SCM Manager and is located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. As a SCM Digitalization Intern you will support the digitalization and reporting of KPIs, data analytics, and business processes to enable SCM efficiency and productivity.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the data, business processes and systems related to procurement and sourcing
- Assist in development of project based analytics tools
- Support integration / migration of ABB products databases and tools for local Division
- Automate vendor master data maintenance process
- Develop standardized tools for Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and non-repetitive savings calculations
- Liaison for warehouse operations team to support common data, tools, and process
- Mentoring and networking opportunities
- Personal and professional development programming will be offered to all interns. This programming will include global and local sessions
Your background
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in the US
- Must be currently authorized to work for ABB in the US
- Supply Chain, Computer Science, or Engineering major preferred
- Strong working knowledge of analytics and automation tools such as Tableau and MS Power Apps
