The role reports to the Group Lead, Procurement and is located in New Berlin, Wisconsin. In this role you will be responsible for supporting purchasing, transportation and logistics functions at ABB Drive Products in New Berlin, WI, where you will be a key member of the Procurement & Logistics team.
You will support the help manage short to midterm material availability by working with suppliers as well as sourcing, master planning, production scheduling, 3PL (Third Party Logistics), quality and production teams.

Your responsibilities
- Assist in daily procurement activities under direction of Supply Planners including purchasing and invoice reconciliation
- Execute projects related to supplier master data maintenance
- Drive supplier performance improvement with scorecard process
- Support ITO (Inventory Turnover) and NWC (Net Working Capital) optimization through forecast/supply/demand analysis
- Liaison for warehouse operations team to support resolution of shipping/receiving issues
- Mentoring and networking opportunities
- Personal and professional development programing will be offered to all interns. This programing will include global and local sessions
Your background
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in the US
- Supply Chain, Business Administration or Engineering major preferred
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel), experience with SAP and MS Power Apps a plus
