The Role:

We are looking for Robotics Solutions Architects who can help to execute on potential customer contracts. You will help to examine, quantify, prototype, and translate opportunities into projects. You will generate initial designs, specifications for engineering teams, project scopes for contracting, and proof of concept demonstrations of RIOS technology. This is a great opportunity to gain rapid experience to a cutting edge technical team, as well as insights into the business process. Desirable candidates will have experience and domain knowledge around:

  • Project scoping
  • Robotics especially leveraging vision and AI
  • Industrial and manufacturing processes
  • Rapid prototyping of mechanical systems

 This position is on site and is anticipated to have 25% travel.

Responsibilities of the Role Include:

  • Meet with customers in order to scope out robotic automation projects 
  • Generate initial design concepts 
  • Generate proof of concept prototypes and demonstrations on short timelines
  • Interface with engineering leaders from AI, robotics, vision, and mechanical engineering in order to quantify project effort 
  • Help to generate project contracts
  • Collaborate with program management to kick off new projects 
  • Help to define and execute on the sales process

Attributes of desired candidates may include some of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, and/or robotics 
  • 3+ of robotic workcell design and implementation experience
  • Knowledge of industrial and manufacturing processes and environments
  • Experience with the design or implementation of manufacturing equipment or production lines
  • Experience communicating with customers, delineating product features, KPIs that meet the customers’ needs
  • Organized, self-motivated, excellent communications skills

Salary range: $100K-$180K depending on job title, education, and experience.
